In February 2020, Chint Solar started the construction of solar park Stadskanaal at the Esdoornstraat in Stadskanaal. To realize the 101 MWp solar park, Chint Solar installed approximately 245,000 solar panels on 83 hectares of land. The park provides sustainable electricity to at least 31,000 households and is one of the largest solar parks in the Netherlands. It was completed and connected to TenneT’s high-voltage grid by the end of 2020.
