Chint Solar has worked with BHM Solar to realize Vlowijker Solar park in de gemeente Bunnik. Construction was completed in January 2024.
The solar farm was realized in the area north of Oostromsdijkje between Achterdijk and Werkhovenseweg. The solar farm has a size of about 22 hectares, including landscaping. Of this, 5 hectares is devoted to careful landscaping based on input from local residents.
The project, with an installed capacity of about 25 megawatt peak (MWp), will provide about 7,800 households with renewable energy on an annual basis.
The municipality of Bunnik aims to be climate neutral by 2040. The Vlowijker Solar Meadow will make a substantial contribution to this.
