Solar park N11 near Alphen aan den Rijn in the Netherlands is realized in a ‘triangle’ between a provincial road N11, a railroad line and a garden centre.
The total area of the plan area is approximately 9 hectares. Of this, approximately 4.1 hectares will be built with solar panels. The remaining area will be used for landscaping, the development of nature such as nature-friendly banks and extensively managed herb-rich grass strips. This will create a nature-inclusive solar park, combining the generation of green energy and nature. The solar park will have a capacity of approximately 7 MWp, which will be able to provide approximately 2,300 households with sustainable energy.
